Sunrise Without Color II
This morning I packed up my Sony A700 and sent it in ---- again --- for repairs. Last week, the technician at Precision Camera Repair tried to convince me that it was functioning properly ---- after they fixed it in late June. I knew the image stabilizer wasn't working as it should, but it's summer, I wanted to take pictures, so I decided to just use it and see what happened.
Last evening, I went to the Monocacy battlefield again for some sunset images. While taking some pictures of the cows there, it froze. Just locked up. No response. It wouldn't even turn off. I had to take the battery out to get it to shut off. I tried again. Same response -- or lack thereof.
So, this morning, I called Precision Camera Repair and said, 'Indeed, it is not working.'
Being without my favorite camera has disrupted my picture taking this summer. With the camera gone, I've lost interest in processing images. So, I'm behind. I like to have all the images from one outing processed before I start posting them. Instead, I have a few images from several outings, with more work to do.
So, I'm going to be skipping around. While looking through the processed images that I haven't posted, I saw this one. I posted one taken the same morning here.
I'm bummed-out. I have no idea what I'll post tomorrow. Stop in and see.
