Day's End, Shenandoah National Park
The pink light from the sunset turned the mountains purple. I almost filled up a whole memory card. I couldn't stop snapping.
Just six hours earlier, all the mountains were hazy humps. Now they were majestic, grand old ridges. It was worth waiting all day for just those few minutes.
