Hedge and two trees on a stormy summer evening in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
I was only in Northern Ireland for a few days, but I loved the green landscape. The endless variety of clouds and weather were often a dominating feature of a scene. The constant rolling clouds added drama and an ever changing play of light on the land and water.
I wish I had more time to focus on photography and setting up a scene and waiting for the light that I liked. All of these photos were just snapped when I had the opportunity. In fact, this one was taken out the window of a moving coach. I used my little fast lens (Minolta 1.4 50 mm) to get a fast shutter speed to freeze the movement.
(Photo info: iso 100, Minolta f/1.4 50 mm lens at f/1.7, 1/4000 sec, camera hand held), County Antrim, Northern Ireland, May 27, 2006.
