Fish, Coral Reef, Sinai Peninsula, Red Sea

Fish around coral reef in the Red Sea off the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt.

I wanted to add a link to information about the coral reefs in this area, but almost all web pages are tourist promotions and little about the reef.

The little tour I went on was short. As my first and only personal underwater glimpse of a coral reef it was worth it, but left me wanting much more information. I'm happy that a few of the many photos I snapped turned out. Considering the conditions, I thought I'd have to hit the delete button on all of them.

This concludes the images from Sharm el Sheikh that I'm going to post. Tomorrow, Cairo.

(Photo info: iso 100, Minolta 50 f/1.4 mm lens at f/2.8, 1/400 sec, camera hand held), Red Sea off Sinai Peninsula, May 22, 2006
