Today, I've posted two pictures of Tundra Swans. (Click on previous to see the second one) Several thousand of them stopped at the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area in southeastern Pennsylvania on their migratory trip to their Arctic breeding grounds.
This 6300 acre area is controlled by the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Seven hundred fifty six acres of the area are set aside as a breeding sanctuary for other birds and wildlife. There is a 400 acre shallow lake the swans and geese use on their stop over.
