Seagulls on Beach at Sunrise, Gulf of Mexico

Previous | Home | Next

After the short detour into photojournalism, I'll return to more calming images, such as sunrises!

At South Padre Island, I couldn't take a picture without birds appearing in the image. Of course, seagulls were the most plentiful, but during the morning and late afternoon hours, Brown Pelicans were everywhere. I was very excited about getting photos of the birds, but I told myself that I couldn't go home without a picture of a sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico.

I've posted two images from that morning (Click on previous to see the second one.)
