Fire on the Mountain (5)

Photo 5 of 5

Finally, the fire on the mountain was out. Afterwards, the space that was burned didn't look that big compared to when it was burning! During the fire, the smoke was so thick I could not see to the other side of the fire, and I couldn't tell how far it extended on the other side. Later, I found out it burned to within 50 feet of another neighbor's garage. Most of the area that was burned was on my property.

The neighbor that was burning brush will be charged by the police and have to pay the expenses of several fire companies that responded. I'm told I'll be reimbursed for the damage caused to my property too.
